1. Is there a minimum system requirement and/or browser version in order to access the Courses effectively?

For security purposes, the Course Modules must be accessed from the latest web browser version(s) for both PC and Mobile devices. Here is a list of updated browser versions as of writing:

2. Will I, and/or the enrolled group members receive a certificate upon Course completion?

Yes, every user who completes our Courses will receive an online Certificate of Completion. Certificates become available only AFTER a user completes the course AND passes the Test.

3. Is the FREE OSHA Healthcare Compliance Course 2018 really free? Is there a catch? Are there hidden fees or required purchase?

Yes, The OSHA for Healthcare Compliance Certification Course is absolutely FREE.
You do not need to provide any payment information.
There is NO catch, NO hidden fees and NO required purchase.

This is part of the EPICompliance and EPICourses Healthcare Safety Mission.

Safety is a number one priority – thus we provide our OSHA for Healthcare Certification Course free of charge every year. Needle sticks, bloodborne pathogens and biomedical waste handling and education is of utmost importance to Healthcare Providers and Patients.

We don’t charge for this Course and will not charge for it in the future.

4. I am trying to purchase courses but my payment does not seem to go through even after clicking on the “PLACE ORDER” button on the CHECKOUT page. What do I need to do?

• Make sure that you have clicked on the box that shows “I’ve read and accept the terms & conditions.*” This is located near the “PLACE ORDER” button.
• Check if there are any missing information required on the BILLING detail(s). Supply needed information as applicable.
• Once above steps are done, click “PLACE ORDER” button to complete payment.

5. How long does it take to complete each course?

The OSHA Compliance 2018 Course, which consists of 40 slides, will take approximately 60 minutes for completion.

The HIPAA Security 2018 Course, consists of 36 slides, will take approximately 55 minutes for completion.

The HIPAA Privacy 2018 Course, which consists of 27 slides, will take approximately 45 minutes for completion.

The ACA/OIG-Medicare 2018 Course, consists of 35 slides, takes approximately 55 minutes for completion.

After each course, you will be required to take the corresponding Test. The Test consists of 10 item multiple type questions. You will need at least a score of 70% in order to pass the Test, and gain the Course Certificate.

6. How long is the validity of the course certificates?

The course certificates are valid for one year from date of completion.

7. What happens if I do not pass the test during my first attempt? How many times am I allowed to take the test if I do not pass during the first attempt? Is there a limit to it?

No need to worry. If you do not pass the test during your first attempt, you can retake the test as much as needed until you gain passing scores. You also have an option to review your answers, and to review the course lesson.

8. Who will have access to my information, and course activities, including course progress?

Rest assured that we at EPICourses are advocates of your data protection and privacy. We constantly update and improve our security systems so that your data are safeguarded.
As far as checking into your course activities and progress and any pertinent information, bear in mind that if your courses are being administered by your company or organization, your group administrator will have access to said information in order to track your progress.

9. How do I get a Coupon code?

Every now and then we may advertise Coupon codes for marketing purposes and/or for special promotions. A great way to be updated of current offerings is to subscribe to our mail list, so that you will get automatic notifications via email. You may check our website or contact us for available coupon codes. However, if there are no available coupon codes, you can still get discounted rates by choosing the course bundles, instead of purchasing individual courses.

10. I need my name to be corrected on the certificate. How do I do this?

Contact us so that we can correct the name on your certificate. In order to verify the account owner, we will require you to send an email to info@epicourses.com from your email ID registered with us.

11. I am done taking the Course but could not seem to access the Test. The screen shows: "Please go back and complete the previous lesson." What do I do?

In this scenario, may we suggest the following steps to help resolve the issue:

1) Make sure you have not skipped any of the Course slides.
2) Hard refresh your screen by clicking on Ctrl + F5 buttons at the same time. Once, this is done, click the button on the lower part of your screen that indicates to “Proceed to take the test.”
3) If after the steps above you are still unable to take the test, try logging out from the website, reload/refresh the page on your browser, and then log back into your EPICourses account. Proceed to the specific course, and attempt to take the test.

13. I am in a location where I cannot turn on volume of the Course Lesson presentation yet. Can I proceed to take the Lesson without listening to the audio?

You can play the Course Lesson presentation and mute the volume, and still be able to go through each of the Lesson slides. However, we highly recommend that you listen to the audio part of the Course Lesson as well at the same time while watching the visual presentation. If you are in a location where you need to be quite (or something of a similar restriction), we suggest that you use an audio head set or head phones in order to be able to listen into the presentation.

14. Our office personnel will be taking the Course (either one or all of the HIPAA, ACA-OIG, and OSHA Courses). Do I (as the manager) have the ability to supervise or oversee the courses while our office personnel takes them?

Yes, the manager or whoever is authorized by your organization, will have the ability to supervise or oversee aspects related to the Courses while your office personnel takes them. For example, your company can purchase as many seats of a Course that you are interested in. As the manager or authorized person of your organization, you can choose the personnel to whom you need to assign a Course(s) to. You can also monitor your personnel’s Course progress.

15. Are all of the Courses (HIPAA Privacy, HIPAA Security, ACA-OIG, and OSHA Courses) to be taken online? Or do I have to attend any of the Course physically in a classroom setting?

All of the Courses (2018 Courses for HIPAA Privacy, HIPAA Security, ACA-OIG, and OSHA) are to be taken online. Each of the Courses consists of its respective Lesson, Test, and corresponding Certificate. All of which are delivered online. The Lessons are presented via audio-visual method. After completing a Lesson, the User may then proceed to the corresponding Test which are also given online. The Tests are in multiple choice format. Upon gaining the passing score (at least 70%), a Certificate is generated online as well. The Certificate can be saved to your computer/device, and can be printed out too.

16. Can I stop mid-way of the Course (in case I need to) and just continue where I left off once I am able to get back to it?

Yes, you certainly can. If during the middle of taking a Course Lesson you needed to leave your current session, you may certainly do so. Your Course progress are being saved online in real time. As soon as you are able to get back, to your EPICourses account, you may then go to the Course Lesson you were previously taking, and then opt to continue where you left off. On the other hand, you may also choose to take the Lesson from the beginning, should you prefer the latter.

17. Is there a limit on how many times I/we can view the Course Lesson before taking the Test?

There is no limit, you can restart the Lesson any number of times.

18. Once the Lesson and Test are completed, would I still be able to go back and review the content of the training or Lesson?

Yes, you can go back and review the content of training or Lesson. You may review the Course Lesson as much as you would like to. Whether you wanted to review the Lesson before attempting to re-take a Test, or perhaps just wanting to refresh knowledge on the related to Course Lesson.

However, each specific Course are being offered during the particular period. For instance, the OSHA for Healthcare 2018 Course will be available during the indicated year only (2018). After which, we will be archiving this Course beginning January on the following year.

19. Will I be required to make additional payments to review a Course Lesson and/or re-take a Test, in case I do not pass during my initial attempt?

No, you will NOT be required to make additional payment if you need to review a Course Lesson and/or re-take a Test, in case you do not pass during your initial attempt.

Moreover, if you are taking the our FREE OSHA for Healthcare 2018 Course in particular, you do not need to pay any fees at all from the beginning.

20. How do I get or print out a copy of my certificate from the Course that I completed?

In order to print out a copy of your Certificate from the Course that you have completed please check the following steps:

  1. Log in to your EPICourses.com account.
  2. From the top menu bar, access My Account tab.
    Your Registered Courses will be shown on this page, including the completion percentage and status of Course.
  3. Click the triangular bullet icon to the right of the specific name of Course that you have completed. Upon clicking, this will expand to show the results of each Test attempt you have made to the Course.
  4. Click the ribbon icon under the Certificate column to generate and print out your Certificate of Completion.

21. How do I review my answers from the previous Test that I took?

In order to review your answers from the previous Test that you took please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your EPICourses.com account.
  2. From the top menu bar, access My Account tab.
    Your Registered Courses will be shown on this page, including the completion percentage and status of Course.
  3. Click the triangular bullet icon to the right of the specific name of Course that you have completed. Upon clicking, this will expand to show the results of each Test attempt you have made to the Course.
  4. Click the clipboard icon under the Statistics column. A pop-up info box will show the questions on the test you took, including the answers and corresponding score.
